He stands in service at Los Pingos del Taita. His genetics combines the traits of 5 consecutive winners of the “Mejor Producto Jugador Inscripto Polo Argentino Abierto”. His first progeny headed the sales at Los Machitos and La Dolfina’s auctions. In 2012, his first progeny were selected for training and their future is promising.

Ellerstina’s No. 1 sire. He is the only stallion in history to have claimed the Premio Lady Susan Townley and the AACCP Award with two different progeny, a stallion and a mare, in the same year.

  • OPEN ALFONSINA: sold at Ellerstina’s auction in ’08. Currently playing her first practice matches with impressive results.

  • OPEN CABERNET (CLARET): exceptional combination of Australian and Argentine blood. Stallion reserved by Ellerstina due to its excellent genetics. His first offspring were born in ’09 and started to be trained in ’12, showing great condition.
  • OPEN ESPACIAL: important stallion owned by Ellerstina. 
  • MACHITOS LÍDER: sold at auction in 2012 at record price. It is partly owned by Los Machitos and it stands in service at Biopolo center.

Hojo de MACHITOS JAZZ

The best female player in Mariano Aguerre’s career. She won the Daniel Kearney prize for the “Mejor Producto Jugador” at the 2004 Hurlingham Open, and the AACCP award to the “Mejor Producto Jugador Inscripto Polo Argentino” at the 2007 Argentine Open Championship. In season 2014, four of her daughters were ridden in the Triple Crown by M. Aguerre: M. ELLA, M. PATSY, M. SIMONE and M. BLUSERA.

Ridden in Opens by Adolfo Cambiaso in seasons 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. "Mejor Producto Polo Argentino" at the 2012 Argentine Open Championship. Adolfo Cambiaso considers her one of the best dams in Haras La Dolfina. For that reason, she has been CLONED.

  • DOLFINA LUFTHANZA: Grand Champion Polo Argentino at the 2007 Rural Exhibition. She was ridden in the Argentine Triple Crown in 2011 and 2012 by Adolfo Cambiaso. She played in the 2014 high handicap season in Argentina.
  • DOLFINA EL BOEING: polo stallion, 3rd Place in his division at the 2007 Rural Exhibition, 2nd Place and Reserve Champion in his division at the 2008 Rural Exhibition. "Mejor Producto Polo Argentino" at the 2011 Jockey Club Open. In 2013, he was ridden in the high handicap season in England by Adolfo Cambiaso.
  • DOLFINA PANNAM: Best Playing Pony at the 2011 Jockey Club Open.
